This book is made up of four Sections. Section one explores ancient Alkebulan, commonly known as Africa including; the traditional musical instruments indigenous to South Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia.

Section two examines colonised Africa discussing the European scramble and eventual partitioning and occupation of African territory.

Section three looks at the revolutions and the fight for a decolonised Africa.

Section four defines the territory considered The Horn of Africa as modern-day South Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia. This section explores the pre-colonial European merchants in The Horn of Africa, The Horn of Africa, partitioning, the railway system, and colonial currency. This section also considers the Kingdom of Kemet, Abyssinia and colonies, in the modern-day territories of South Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia.

The book has a glossary section containing definitions and a list of references.
